EXPIRED FILM as its defects is the new perfect |
Yeah. imperfect but true moment... for real. |
that photo was taken with a CANONET |
highlights are so detailed, even wahed out. |
OUR HUSKY is a poser... no doubt and those green tones... so #retro |
an instant moment, in Paris |
flash on him... my first time, testing exposure on a light meter.
looks so much like taken in the eighties. |
that look.... 🙀 |
snap shot : people are more happy to see retro style cameras. |
I just loved that harmony between them. |
After that photo he asked me "did you get it?' I proudly answered "it's in the box" |
another Canonet camer picture in black and white |
this one was a true moment of bliss: 15th of a second, those flying gooses made the shot. |
school bus in the morning under the fog... |
rare moment : a photo of two of us. |
my three girls on a gray sky, yet happy to be there |
Their mom is their sunshine |

Valentina, a model by nature. |
WHAT CAN I SAY: I LOVE ANALOG PHOTOGRAPHY. IS IT ME NOT ACCEPTING MY AGE?
IS IT THE COLOURS ? THE HOME PROCESSING OR SIMPLY THE FACT THAT IT'S REAL, NOT DIGITAL NOR PERFECTLY SHARP.
SO, YOU MIGHT ASK: HOW MANY PIXELS ? WELL, IT ALL DEPENDS IN REALITY, BASED ON THE ISO AND THE QUALITY OF FILM. ALSO, SINCE IT'S SCANNED BY MY 5DMARK3, I WOULD SIMPLY SAY 21MP.
YET, IF YOU EVER SCANNED IT WITH A BETTER CAMERA, NATURALLY IT COULD BE MORE.
SO, TO TAKE AWAY THE CURIOSITY OF THE REAL ACTUAL VALUE, BASED ON THE PRINT SIZE ALLOWANCE; I WOULD SAY IT VARIES FROM 18 TO 24 MP.
SO IF IT'S 50 ISO, KODACK PRIME FILM QUALITY YOU COULD REACH UP TO 24MP, BUT IF IT'S 800 ISO THEN YOU WOULD EXPECT LIKE DIGITAL SOME NOISE AND THEREFORE LOSS OF QUALITY ON A LARGER SCALE OF PRINTING.
HAVING SAID SO, I WILL DO A MORE CLEAR VIEW ON HOW TO CALCULATE THE VALUE OF ISO, BASED ON THE FILM QUALITY ON A FUTURE VIDEO.
STAY TUNED.
